Trainees will undertake on the job training and support while studying their Certificate III in Children’s Services. They will work under an experienced Group Leader assisting in the co-ordination of educational activities for an allocated group of children.
Specific duties will include: Supervision and support to a group of children, help to prepare and administer activities, maintain hygiene & cleanliness, ensure health & safety and licensing requirements are maintained, provide feedback to parents on their child’s development.
Assistants will provide support to a Group Leader and will assist in the co-ordination of educational activities for an allocated group of children.
Specific duties will include: Supervision and support to a group of children, prepare programs and activities as required, maintain hygiene & cleanliness, ensure health & safety and licensing requirements are maintained, provide feedback to parents on their child’s development.
Educational Leaders will coordinate the educational activities of an allocated group of children and will monitor the development of each child.
Specific duties will include: Supervision and support to a group of children, plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program for each child, assess and monitor each child’s progress and provide feedback to parents, maintain developmental records on each child, monitor and evaluate effectiveness of each program, maintain hygiene & cleanliness, ensure health & safety and licensing requirements are maintained, supervise and mentor the performance of trainees and assistants.
The Nominated Supervisor will manage and co-ordinate all activities within the centre and will guide and support employees to ensure optimum care and education is provided to children and their families. The Nominated Supervisor will also be responsible for ensuring the centre maintains adherence to Little Peoples policies and procedures, as well as the standards for Accreditation, Child Care Regulation and National Quality Standards.
Additional duties will include: induct, support and supervise employees, supervise programs and maintain Centre policies and procedures, maintain Centre and family records.
This will be a full time teaching position, responsible for teaching and preparing the centre’s Pre-prep children for Primary School.
The successful candidate will be required to work up to a certain number of hours per week preparing meals for the centres children on a daily basis.
